everything in here is 1973 and previous which falls into the public domain of mlb radio broadcasts as far as i know
these are all one file per game, properly tagged, named, and cleaned up from multi files the best i could
please do not sell these on eBay, people have wanted these for a long time and they have not been available in a cleaned up format and they are a piece of baseball and meant to be shared with all freely. put them on an ipod or old cell phone and give them to an older loved one in your life, or donate one to a nursing home.
I am looking for any Major League Baseball (MLB) radio broadcast of games in which Rocky Colavito Played. Television clips of Rocky Colavito (both at bat and in the field) would be also be welcomed if they have a radio announcer describing the action.

I produce a baseball-centric history podcast with a former producer for the Yankees, CBS, and the Mets (the 1940s-1970s). I've used a few short snips of PBP to liven up the production. Would like to confirm permission to use as we move forward. Thank you in advance.

Any more ganes in the archives?
Have really enjoyed listening the nearly 40 years of radio broadcasts from the 1934 all star game , right through the world series of 1973. Am surprised about some of these were there are two or 3 versions of the same broadcasts. Which only number a small amount. Just wondering if there any more in the archives ?, which can be released later.

So very cool! My father went to the 1st game of the 1954 World Series and I still have the ticket....now I get to listen to the game that he and my grandparents saw!
You have put together an amazing treasure trove of Baseball goodness. I have put up a podcast and website to take the game audio and put them together with Home and Away scorecards for the games so you can listen and keep score. You can find these at http://www.ourshowofshows.com/theoldballgame/

Used to enjoy this site immensely. Now all I get is a request to donate. No longer are the games listed and I have no idea how to find them. Bruce Hass

I have uploaded the 1st 3 games of 1966 World Series between Orioles and Dodgers. They are in the community post area. Hopefully they will be moved to this Classic Baseball Radio Broadcast with all the other World Series games

#445 Dodgers vs Cubs, 1969
The broadcast is incomplete and in 1969 the Dodgers had been in Los Angeles for 11 years. The game was played on Sunday July 27, not on July 29. Only because the team of Scully and Doggett was calling the game did this broadcast not earn the lowest rating.

Where is Game 1 of the 1962 World Series?
Hs anyone noticed that only game 1 of the 1962 World Series is missing? Have any of you knowledge as to where it might be found? God Bless, Eric Galati

Gratitude in a Time of Pandemic
Many thanks for this archive, which will get me through the Covid-19 lockdown. Just listened to a 1956 World Series game that I (age 6) attended with my grandfather. The past recaptured.

These are absolutely precious. Thank you so much for posting them.
I have been searching the web for years for complete games called by Ernie Harwell to give to my Dad. He has an old cassette tape of a game called by Ernie that he must have listened to a hundred times. In 1991 we sat in the bleachers in Tiger Stadium during Ernie's last game. We had an old radio and everyone in the bleachers turned around in their seat and just listened to Ernie as a silent protest against his firing. Thankfully, he was brought back when Mike Ilitch bought the Tigers. If you could only see my father weep when I play these for him. It's amazing what emotions baseball and voices can conjure. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

English Cricket fan
This is as good as it gets for me. I have not got access to any tv broadcasts here at home because they are only on pay per view tv. 5 years ago a TV station called channel 5 used to show a weekly game live and the world series for free. But this gives me a chance to catch up on all the old guys and their games. I suppose I like baseball because it's similar in a lot of ways to cricket - complex, and often baffling to the uninitiated. I am still learning . Thanks for this great slice of history. I can only dream of the next time baseball will be broadcast on TV over here but until then here are 100's of great games from the past.

A Treasure Trove
For baseball fans of bygone era's, this is one of the best uploads you will ever find. So many classic games, famous names, teams that no longer exist and many of the best baseball announcers who ever called a play.
All I can say is "enjoy". This is as good as it gets.
